The South West Nuclear Hub is pleased to welcome CFMS as the latest member of its Innovation Network.
The Centre for Modelling and Simulation (CFMS) is an independent digital engineering consultancy providing technical expertise to help organisations create better solutions by pioneering new approaches to product development.
With a full portfolio of digital capabilities, including design & analysis services, consultancy and IT infrastructure, CFMS uses digital innovation to help develop more effective engineering solutions across industrial sectors critical to the UK economy.
Working with commercial and research organisations of all sizes, CFMS is at the forefront of scientific and engineering development.
CFMS collaborates across industry, academia and research organisations, including research projects funded through Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI), Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC), i3P, FlyZero, WECA and more.
The company is based at the Bristol & Bath Science Park and applies its digital engineering capability to a number of industry themes, including non-destructive testing, AI for Industrial Inspection and smarter infrastructure.

South West Nuclear Hub Innovation Network Membership
Innovation Network membership is aimed at companies seeking to enter the nuclear technology development pipeline, e.g. offering knowledge transfer. Principally spin-outs, start-ups, SMEs and sector-jumpers.
There is no cost to join the Innovation Network, but proactive engagement is expected upon signing the agreement. Members in this tier can progress into the Applied Research membership category when collaborative projects and deeper engagement are initiated. Here, members can choose an incremental, (capped) project-based fee or an upfront flat rate.
