FreeThe Radioactive Waste Management Research Support Office (RWM RSO) research in progress seminar series aims to facilitate knowledge exchange between RWM, academics and research organisations on research topics important to geological disposal. Please do feel free to bring your lunch to these informal sessions.
The first session on Thursday 10th June will be focussed on the latest research underway to reduce the uncertainty in spent nuclear fuel disposal. We will be joined by speakers working with real spent nuclear fuel, in addition to academic researchers using different SimFuel approaches to quantify dissolution rates and the influence of microstructure on dissolution.
