The future of Nuclear Safety and Security

March 27 -9:30 am - 4:00 pm

Free

The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy’s (BEIS) investment in Nuclear Innovation is one of the most ambitious government initiatives that the UK nuclear sector has seen for a generation. As a leading supplier in the sector, Frazer-Nash with the support of our consortium is delivering a programme of sector defining Research and Development (R&D) in the nuclear Safety and security domains.

Over the past 12 months our programme has made significant strides in developing new capability, tools and processes to enhance both safety and security performance, while reducing reactor development and operational costs.

You'll be briefed on the progress of the current programme, the findings so far, and how they could benefit your organisation. You will be asked to provide insight into the safety and security issues affecting a wide range of reactor technologies, including GenIV and Advanced Modular Reactors. Through collaborative sessions your contribution will help refine our research direction for the next year.
