On Wednesday 4th October the Hub hosted a number of employers from the nuclear sector, from the Bristol area and beyond. This group of companies represented many different areas of the industry, including operators, consultancies and professional institutions.
The event was attended by postgraduate students on MSc Nuclear Science and Engineering as well as final year Chemistry and Physics undergraduates. Each company gave a presentation explaining what their role is within the industry and advertising their graduate opportunities. Students were then able to network with the speakers during coffee and lunch breaks, which proved an invaluable opportunity to find out detailed information about potential career paths.

This was the first such event held for Nuclear MSc students and it was exciting to have such a diverse group of industry representatives visit the Hub building. The speakers ranged from recent graduates to HR recruiters to company directors, which made for a dynamic and interesting set of talks.
