Robot Lab Live

Robot Lab Live is a virtual robotics showcase featuring 16 of the UK’s top robotics research groups. Each team will show-off their cutting-edge robots and autonomous systems simultaneously to live audiences on YouTube. You can flick between different demos running during the two-hour livestream, ask questions and interact with the research teams in the chat.

NNUF Hot Robotics Showcase 

The Bristol Fenswood facility is one of four partners in the National Nuclear User Facility for Hot Robotics (NNUF-HR). NNUF-HR is home to a wide variety of equipment, including robotic manipulators, drones, ground vehicles and sensors which are available for hire to both academia and industry. This demo will showcase technology available at NNUF-HR Bristol, being used in a radioactive dispersal event scenario. It will consist of a large, tracked SuperDroid robot combined with a KUKA LBR iiwa robotic manipulator and an attached sensor package. The system will be used to identify hazardous materials in its environment.
