ROS for nuclear sensing workshop
August 13, 2020 -9:30 am - 11:30 am
FreeCurrent support for integrating radiation sensors with robots needs improvement. The Robot Operating system (ROS) is used to program and control robots, and there is a growing need across the UK and globally to join sensors and robots effectively.
Robot developers, instrument manufacturers, industrial users & radiation sensing experts are encouraged to join this workshop.
This workshop will feature an introduction to ROS, common radiation sensing instruments, and their applications with robots. Participants will take part in group discussion to highlight key requirements for future ROS messages.
