Dr Peter Martin of the Interface Analysis Centre at the University of Bristol has had his PhD thesis published by Springer in their series recognising outstanding PhD research.
Peter's PhD was nominated by the School of Physics for a Springer thesis, a prestigious and exclusive honour awarded to the best theses in physical sciences from around the world. The thesis is entitled 'The 2011 Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Accident: an Analysis from the Metre to the Nanometre Scale'.
Speaking about the publication, Dr Martin said: " I am very proud to see my work published in this distinguished series. It is an honour to see my research recognised in this way and it is pleasing to see that it has made a significant impact to the field".
