Event pageNuclear 2020: Roadmap to Net Zero, the industry’s leading annual nuclear conference, will take place on Thursday 3 December as a virtual event and exhibition.
Now in its 20th year, the conference will bring together speakers from across all parts of the nuclear industry to update and discuss key developments in decommissioning, nuclear new build, dexport opportunities, skills and much more.

At the end of September the UK EPR Design Centre was officially launched. Led by EDF’s new nuclear engineering division (DIPNN UK) and Edvance UK, the Centre is based in Aztec West, Bristol and aims to create a UK centre of design expertise for EPR reactor construction. This further develops EDF’s nuclear expertise in Britain with a centre where leading companies can come together to support Hinkley Point C and other UK EPR projects in their design, build and commissioning.
Tilly Spencer from Edvance UK and Nicky Vyce from Vulcain Engineering will be presenting on the scope of the Design Centre today and the future aspirations. This will include the plans for engagement with the wider UK supply chain.

Event pagenew to nuclear (n2n) is an NIA initiative to provide a commercial and business orientated platform for people new to the sector, or for those looking to further develop commercial nuclear understanding.
The n2n team will be running a series of short 30 minute sessions delivered by business leaders to focus on the commercial aspects of future markets.
The first event is Canada in Context: An Insight into the Canadian Nuclear Market Wednesday 23 September at 3pm.
