Royce Institute Student Summit

The Henry Royce Institute Student Summit 2021 is a two-day virtual conference aimed at UK doctoral students undertaking work in materials-related subjects.

What is the summit about?

The inaugural Royce Student Summit aims to bring together the UK materials PhD and EngD community to share research, network, and learn more about transitioning from doctoral study to the next step on the career ladder.

The theme of the Summit is Advanced Materials for a Sustainable Future, focussing in particular on five key advanced materials drivers for advanced materials research:

  • Transition to Zero Carbon
  • Sustainable Manufacture
  • Digital and Communications
  • Circular Economy
  • Health and Wellbeing

Registration for this event is free to doctoral candidates studying a materials-related subject and affiliated with a UK institution, and well as their academic or industrial supervisors.

WEAF Virtual Hydrogen Summit

The West of England Aerospace Forum (WEAF) are launching the first digital Hydrogen Summit in the South West.

Listen to the experts to gain an overview of the sector and explore the opportunities it may bring to the South West supply chain.

The event will be discussing the development of the green hydrogen roadmap and bringing together local stakeholders, authorities and businesses to develop and deploy hydrogen fuel projects across the region. It will also cover policy, hydrogen supply, research and development, infrastructure and hydrogen demand.

Nuclear 2020: Roadmap to Net Zero, the industry’s leading annual nuclear conference, will take place on Thursday 3 December as a virtual event and exhibition.

NI Young Generation Network Festival Week

The YGN is excited to bring something new to members and wider YGN community this year with their very first YGN Festival Week, in lieu of the Annual Seminar and Dinner.
