The University of Bristol hosted a speaker from the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency for a public lecture, in collaboration with the Institute of Physics Nuclear Industry Group.
Jim Gulliford, Head of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency Data Bank, gave a lecture on how the Agency is working to promote the training of the next generation of nuclear scientists and engineers.
The emphasis of the talk was on the need for international coordination on this issue, which the OECD is working on with its Nuclear Education, Skills and Technology (NEST) Framework.
